Job Description

The role provides senior leadership for NAB's Vietnam-based T&EO Reporting & Insights, Governance Program Execution and TPRM teams with people leadership as the primary responsibility. Build a high‑performing, collaborative and learning‑focused team, providing strong on‑site leadership and delivery oversight across end‑to‑end management information, governance and reporting. This enables effective tracking of progress against T&EO strategy, risk and regulatory commitments, including oversight of the TPRM assessment team to ensure third‑party risk assessments are delivered with consistent quality, timeliness and rigour.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Co-ordination of activities used to track progress across T&EO risk and compliance activities, including TPRM assessment and governance program execution.
  • Translating data and analysis to promote actionable insights and business value. Review and challenge management information.
  • Lead, develop and mentor a high-performing team of professionals.
  • Ensure timely delivery and risk-based assessment of vendors.
  • Ability to identify gaps in data quality and governance adherence and drive corrective action / uplift of data gathering, reporting and quality of data through leaders.
  • Coaches and uplifts capability across onshore/offshore teams.
  • Drives a culture of challenge, ownership and continuous improvement across the organisation
  • Delivery of agreed outcomes/initiatives on-time and to a very high standard.
  • Complete, timely and accurate distilling of management information.
  • 90 Day planning and prioritisation.
  • Colleague engagement and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Issues and actions tracked across various initiatives.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 8 to 10 + years experience in reporting, governance, risk management or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience operating in large complex organisations preferably within banking or financial services.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating audit, regulatory or assurance activities.
  • Exposure to enterprise risk themes such as data governance, operational resilience, third party and regulatory remediation.
  • Experience leading teams across distributed operating environments
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret internal policy, standards and regulatory obligations and translate into clear, practical outcomes for senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyse complex data, identify root-causes of issues, challenge information quality and develop practical risk aware solutions
  • Demonstrated resilience, prioritisation and execution capability in large, regulated and fast paced environments with competing demands. Distribute organisational resources in a way that aligns to strategic plans and priorities.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to simplify workstreams, improve governance hygiene and uplift productivity through better data, processes or tooling.
  • Proven senior people leadership of large, multi-disciplinary offshore teams with a primary focus of capability uplift, engagement and retention.
  • Advocates cross-functional analysis of problems, encouraging cooperation across functions on key decisions using quality data and metrics.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence and interact with senior stakeholders, including Board and C-Suite executives.
  • Strong capability in third party risk, including oversight of assessment activity and ability to provide meaningful risk insights to support
