Job Description

Galaxy Holdings, a digital technology group within the Sovico ecosystem, operates across multiple industries including banking, finance, securities, insurance, aviation, real estate, healthcare, and education. It serves as the Group's core technology platform, consolidating market-leading capabilities to drive digitalization, innovation, andscalable business growth across all member companies.

The Head of PMO is responsible for establishing, leading, and governing the Group-wide Project Management Office of Galaxy Holdings. This role oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, complex, and multi-industry projects across the Group's ecosystem, including BFSI, aviation, real estate, healthcare, education, and digital platforms.

Reporting directly to Group Leadership, the Head of PMO ensures strategic alignment, delivery excellence, risk governance, and value realization for projects with significant business impact and investment scale, including mega and billion-dollar programs.

Responsibilities:

Group PMO Leadership & Governance

  • Establish and lead the Group PMO framework, standards, and governance model across all subsidiaries and business units.
  • Define and enforce project management methodologies, policies, tools, and reporting standards at Group level.
  • Ensure consistency, transparency, and accountability across the entire project portfolio.
  • Demonstrates strong business excellence acumen, with real world achievement and ability to translate strategy into operational execution, drive performance, and deliver results.

Portfolio & Program Management

  • Oversee the full enterprise project portfolio, including strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and large-scale investments.
  • Prioritize and balance projects based on strategic value, risk, resource capacity, and financial impact.
  • Ensure successful delivery of complex, cross-functional, and cross-industry programs, including projects with multi-billion-dollar investment value.

Executive Stakeholder & Governance Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Board, Group Executives, and BU Leaders on project strategy, execution risks, and delivery status.
  • Lead executive steering committees, governance forums, and critical decision-making sessions.
  • Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes with strong diplomacy, influence, and cultural sensitivity.

Delivery Excellence & Risk Management

  • Drive best practices in project execution, benefits realization, and performance management.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate delivery, financial, regulatory, and operational risks.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and aligned with business outcomes.

Cross-Industry & Cross-Border Coordination

  • Coordinate projects across multiple industries and geographies, working with local and international partners, vendors, and regulators.
  • Manage dependencies across technology, operations, finance, legal, and compliance functions.

PM Capability & Talent Development

  • Build and develop a high-performing PMO leadership and project management community across the Group.
  • Coach and mentor senior project directors, program managers, and project leads.
  • Promote a strong culture of accountability, collaboration, and execution excellence.

Requirements:

Experience & Expertise

  • 15+ years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management within large corporations or conglomerates.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale, complex projects and programs, including mega or billion-dollar initiatives.
  • Strong experience managing projects across multiple industries, ideally including BFSI, aviation, real estate, healthcare, education, and digital transformation.

Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Exceptional stakeholder management, diplomacy, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at Board and C-level.
  • High emotional intelligence, flexible mindset, and strong situational judgment in complex and sensitive environments.
  • Strong relationship builder with an extensive network of senior leaders, partners, and vendors.

Technical & Strategic Capabilities

  • Deep understanding of project governance, risk management, financial controls, and benefits realization.
  • Ability to translate corporate strategy into executable programs and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience working with international partners and cross-border projects is a strong advantage.

Language & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related fields; MBA is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (executive-level communication); additional languages are an advantage.
  • PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
