This is the strategic role for their manufacturing operations, ensuring that customer requirements are translated into high-quality finished goods.
What this role will do
Operational Planning & Execution
- Production Scheduling: Architect and maintain granular production timelines to guarantee on-time delivery across all stamping and assembly lines.
- Resource Management: Strategically allocate manpower, optimize machine utilization, and ensure tooling capacity is aligned with the master production schedule.
- ERP Integrity: Champion accurate data entry and real-time reporting within the ERP system to maintain transparency in inventory and production progress.
Continuous Improvement & Process Control
- OEE Optimization: Analyze workflow data to aggressively reduce machine downtime, minimize setup intervals, and eliminate waste.
- Lean Leadership: Spearhead KAIZEN events and enforce 5S standards to maintain a world-class manufacturing environment.
- Maintenance Oversight: Direct both preventative and corrective maintenance programs to ensure maximum equipment reliability and safety.
Team Leadership & Technical Development
- Performance Management: Supervise and evaluate a multi-disciplinary team of operators, technicians, and supervisors.
- Skill Cultivation: Identify technical gaps and implement structured training programs to enhance the leadership and mechanical capabilities of the staff.
- Regulatory Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to ISO9001/IATF16949 quality standards and company safety protocols.
What the role requires
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management.
- 510 years of leadership experience in a metal-centric manufacturing environment (lathe, milling, wire cutting, welding, stamping).
- Deep mastery of metal processing techniques, mechanical machining, and toolroom operations.
- Proficiency in ISO9001 or IATF16949 quality management systems is highly preferred.
- Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) with the ability to interface across all organizational levels.
- A structured, results-oriented leader who is comfortable being hands-on on the factory floor
