Make an impact
1. Strategic Direction
- Support the Head of New Product Development in defining the product development roadmap, ensuring strong alignment with marketing strategy, design intent and business goals.
- Ensure seamless integration of Swarovski Novelties, Touchstone and other OEM customers.
- Execution of projects defined by GSC Leadership
2. Master Model and Digital Process Ownership
- Drive excellence in master model and CAD/CAM processes through innovation, digital integration, and additive manufacturing methods.
- Ensure processes are optimized for precision, scalability, and design freedom, enabling seamless transitions into mass production.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Production teams to secure timely and flawless execution of new product introductions and basic transfers to other manufacturing site.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Production, Manufacturing Process Development, Supply Chain Management, Quality and Global Product Development Jewelry teams to secure seamless handover from Design Release to Mass Production Release and deliver new SKUs on time and within standards.
4. Continuous Improvement, Design-to-Cost and Innovation
- Champion new technologies and process improvements that enhance quality, speed, and implementation of design-to-cost principles across the product development value chain.
5. Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, coach, and empower the engineering team to deliver high-quality results, build future capabilities, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Bring your magic
We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:
- Bachelor or higher degree in Engineering background, ideally 8+ years of professional experience in a similar role within an international corporate, practical exposure with operations environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and demonstrated experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques. Solid experience with technical 3D design software, preferably Rhinoceros or NX.
- Advanced English communication and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to gain trust with all levels of stakeholders.
- Proven organizational skills and ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
