Job Description

Job purpose

  • As a strategic partner to Commercial Senior Management in Sales and Marketing, this role will translate business vision and challenge into comprehensive people agenda, drive talent development & capability building, shape organizational effectiveness and foster the winning culture across levels.
  • Cascade overarching commercial people agenda into strategic workstreams & initiatives through a PBP Commerce team – bring about impact through synergies and raise standards in operating & delivery model

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership

  • Serve as trusted advisor to Commercial Leadership Team, influencing strategic decisions relating to organization design, leadership effectiveness, talent and transformation
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business goals and translate them into effective HR strategies that align with overall organizational objectives
  • Design and implement a people agenda that addresses the unique needs of each function, focused on talent acquisition, development, and retention.

Organization &Operating Model Optimization

  • Review and refine operating model to continually transform the business towards a high performing commercial organization, right-size and right span of control
  • Develop and govern commercial workforce strategy that reflect the operating model, incorporate talent decisions, to support long-term growth priorities.
  • Drive workforce productivity and organizational effectiveness, ensuring people investments support commercial growth, execution excellence and cost efficiency.

Transformation and Change Management

  • Lead enterprise-scale commercial transformation initiatives, including organization redesign, workforce transition, leadership alignment, capability architecture, stakeholder engagement and change adoption to enable future business growth.
  • Embed changes through robust governance, guidance and support to managers and employees to facilitate smooth transitions and minimize disruptions.

Talent and Leadership Pipeline

  • Identify talent gaps and work with management to develop and implement strategies for talent acquisition, development, and succession planning.
  • Build the commercial leadership succession bench strength
  • Foster a growth mindset and talent mobility to develop critical experience in functional and leadership areas

Data-driven People Decision Enablement

  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of workforce planning and productivity initiatives
  • Enhance talent decisions through talent insights, risk of loss / turnover, capability development ROI and succession bench strength

Team Leadership

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior HRBPs
  • Guide and support managers in developing their leadership capabilities and people management skills.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD) preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a strategic commercial function e.g. Sales, Marketing
  • Strategic thinking and alignment to align on strategies, programs that are relevant to the business strategy and goals
  • Business acumen to understand organizations industry, market and business model.
  • Proven stakeholder management and leadership skills to effectively influence and support management decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance issues.
  • Experience in fast-paced, complex matrix and multi-stakeholder environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale commercial organization design and workforce transition programs
  • Proven experience partnering with senior leadership to drive HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at senior level
  • Strong analytical skills, experience using workforce analytics to influence executive decisions
  • Executive coaching ability
  • Excellent speaking and writing in English & Vietnamese
