Responsibilities:
- Set quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKR) for Operations (including Supply Chain, Logistics/ Reverse, Operations Excellence)
- Set a budget for Operations, and set up processes to monitor and manage actual expenses against budget
- Initiate continuous improvement initiatives to achieve greater efficiency and lower the cost of operations
Logistics & Reverse Logistics Management:
- Lead 3rd Party Logistics team to manage network of 3rd party logistics providers to achieve operational KPI
- Plan and monitor day-to-day running of operations and operational KPI
- Plan and monitor 3PL activities, resources, and operational KPIs during campaigns
- Anticipate risks related to 3PL operations and take proactive actions to mitigate or eliminate the risks
- Manage returns from customers or marketplace platforms to ensure that all returns are authorized
- Perform regular reconciliation of inventory between 3PL warehouses and OnPoint system
- Coordinate between 3PL and marketplace platforms to ensure first-mile delivery (pick up/drop off) are executed efficiently
- Work with Brands to inbound inventory at marketplace platform's warehouse (Fulfilment by platforms)
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, and ensure 3PL adheres to the SOP
- Reconcile fulfilment fees from 3PL and marketplace platforms
- Manage Reverse Logistics to control bad stock across stakeholders: platforms, 3PL, Warehouses
Supply Chain Management:
- Lead Supply Management Team to run monthly S&OP meeting
- Responsible for optimizing inventory holding to keep Days of Inventory low without risking Out of Stock (OOS)
- Raise Purchase Orders to ensure that inventory arrived on time to avoid OOS
- Coordinate with the 3PL team to ensure that 3PL warehouses have sufficient capacity to receive the inbound inventory
- Responsible for monitoring SLOB inventory level, and collaborating with Commercial to clear the SLOB timely
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, and ensure 3PL adheres to the SOP
Operations Excellence:
- Lead end-to-end process mapping, gap analysis, and redesign across core operational flows (Demand Planning, Procurement, Inbound, Warehousing, Outbound, Returns, Last-mile).
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and operational risks; translate them into clear improvement initiatives with measurable impact.
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies to drive productivity, quality, and cost improvements.
- Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure consistent execution across teams and partners.
- Lead initiatives to reduce operational costs, waste, and losses (e.g. failed delivery, customer returns, inventory discrepancies).
- Identify operational risks and build preventive controls and contingency plans.
Requirements:
1. Education background requirements: Master's degree is preferable
2. Experience/Industry requirements:
- 10 + at work, minimum 5y at same level
- Experience in managing operations in an Omni-channels practice from Supply Chain and Logistics standpoint
- Excellent horizontal stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to analyze and build optimization strategy for operational excellence
- Able to perform activities-based costing, analyze cost related to each operational activity throughout the end-to-end supply chain, and identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Able to create a process map of operational activities, identify non-value-adding or inefficient activities, and seek opportunities to re-engineer processes
- Able to work with the team to creatively propose solutions, and make recommendations to improve operational KPI
- Practical experience in applying Lean Six Sigma methodology
- Strong focus on standardizing and simplifying processes, setting up operational principles, reducing errors, and training team members
- Analytical and able to utilize data and Business Intelligence to make informed decisions
- Strong bias for actions to achieve positive outcomes for business
- Fluency in English
