Job Description
Barrington James is partnering with a leading multinational pharmaceutical company to appoint a Head of Market Access based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
This is a strategic leadership role reporting directly to the Regional Head of Market Access, with responsibility for shaping market access, pricing, reimbursement, tender strategy, and stakeholder engagement across an established portfolio and future pipeline assets.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead market access, pricing, reimbursement, and tender strategies to maximize patient access and business growth
• Build and strengthen relationships with government authorities, payers, healthcare institutions, and industry associations
• Drive value demonstration, health economics, and evidence-generation initiatives
• Lead and develop high-performing teams across Market Access, Key Account Management, and Tender functions
• Serve as a key member of the country leadership team, contributing to business strategy and growth
Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong background in Market Access, Pricing & Reimbursement, Tender Management, or Government Affairs
• Experience engaging with healthcare authorities and reimbursement stakeholders in Vietnam
• Proven people leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience within multinational pharmaceutical organizations is highly preferred
• Fluency in Vietnamese and English
