About the Opportunity
On behalf of our international client , we are hiring a
Head of LiveOps to lead their largest and most impactful business unit.
As a key leadership position, you will drive sustainable growth through product strategy, operational excellence, and a high-performing team culture. You will play a pivotal role in their hybrid transformation journey by elevating our LiveOps, monetization, and product practices to a new level of innovation, automation, and scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Division Game Strategy
- Define the division's strategy, which should consider the market, company strategy, reusability and team capabilities in depth.
- Identify and fill the needed capabilities and resources.
- Responsible for feature building, market expansion, and monetization for the top games in Amanotes.
- AI
- Keep the company updated with AI developments related to your scope.
- Apply AI to speed up production, live-ops, and all the other operations in the team.
- Infrastructure & tools
- Design the product strategy that promotes re-usability across the games.
- Work with the related team to develop tools and infrastructure that can facilitate the scaled operations and automation.
- Team Leadership
- Lead cross-functional team from product, game designer, tech, monetization, ad operations, and data analyst.
- Recruit, Lead, mentor, and develop the team.
- Promote and uphold Amanotes culture in the team as well as other principles of the division.
- Monetization:
- Define and execute monetization strategies for LiveOps products aligned with Amanotes Hybrid Casual direction.
- Scrum project management:
- Apply Scrum mindset and rituals in the division's daily work
- Oversee and support the team in bringing projects from concept to release to ensure alignment with strategy and effective use of resources and budget.
- Depending on the types of projects, the team you manage would be a combination of in-house production teams, outsourcing, and publishing studios.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Working with other functional departments and reviewing/defining the collaboration model that can fit well with the Division's strategy and capabilities.
- Executing and continuously improving the collaboration model.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including other departments and external partners.
- Performance management:
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the game development team, projects, and the division.
- Company strategy contributor:
- Co-creating company strategy with the management team.
- Being the sounding board for each other to raise each other's bar.
- Company Culture contributor:
- Co-create, demonstrate, promote, and protect company culture.
Requirements
Job Requirements
Technical Skills
- 7+ years of experience in mobile app and game development, especially in casual or hybrid casual titles.
- Proven success designing and scaling liveops, retention loops, and hybrid monetization systems.
- Understand and successfully deploy AI products/tools.
- 5+ years in leadership roles ; evidence in building high-performing teams and leading with clarity, empathy, and vision.
- Understanding of the ecosystem of mobile games and ad tech.
Soft Skills
- Can go from high-level division planning to getting into the details of product iterations.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and fast-paced growth. Ability to learn and update with new knowledge quickly.
- Ability to provide clarity to complex situations and communicate with many people.
- Passionate about Music & Games, with an authentic excitement for creating meaningful music-based experiences.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
