Job Description

Key Responsibilities

IP Business Development & Monetization

Develop and implement scalable IP business models and commercialization strategies.

Build business proposals and collaborate with brands, partners, and clients to monetize IP assets across music, film, gaming, merchandise, and brand collaborations.

Identify new revenue streams and market opportunities aligned with the company's IP portfolio.

Licensing Strategy & Commercial Partnerships

Establish and execute IP licensing strategies and partnership frameworks.

Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with music producers, game publishers, film distributors, OTT platforms, and commercial brands.

Oversee licensing agreements and ensure compliance with contractual and IP usage terms.

Product Development & Commercialization

Collaborate with Creative and Production teams to develop IP-driven products and content initiatives.

Work with Marketing teams to design communication and promotional strategies that maximize IP value.

Monitor business performance and optimize commercialization outcomes.

Coordinate with Legal and relevant stakeholders to protect IP rights and address copyright issues.

Revenue Management & Performance Optimization

Deliver revenue and cost KPIs aligned with business targets.

Evaluate the effectiveness of IP monetization models and recommend improvements based on performance analysis and reporting.

Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration

Build, manage, and develop a high-performing IP business team.

Provide coaching, performance evaluation, and capability development to team members.

Establish and refine internal processes to enhance collaboration across departments.

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Marketing, Communications, Entertainment Management, Brand Management, or related fields.

Working Experience

Proven experience in new business development within licensing, franchise, IP commercialization, or related sectors such as music, gaming, film, or digital content.

Minimum 3 years in a similar leadership or senior management role.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of intellectual property rights and commercialization strategies.

Excellent negotiation, market analysis, and business strategy development skills.

Established industry network within entertainment, media, technology, or e-commerce is an advantage.

Solid knowledge of digital marketing, social media, advertising, and business analytics.

Strong planning and data analysis capabilities.

Leadership & Soft Skills

Strategic and commercially driven mindset with strong business development acumen.

Strong sales presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Effective leadership and team development capabilities.

Collaborative and cross-functional working style.

Computer Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools.

Language Skills

Professional working proficiency in English.
