JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for leading the overall investment and treasury management activities to optimize capital efficiency, ensure liquidity, comply with legal regulations and support the company's long-term financial strategy, advise the Board of Directors on financial strategy, especially in decisions related to capital structure, profit distribution, and M&A activities or long-term strategic investments.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Develop and implement financial investment strategies
- Plan overall investment strategies, in line with financial objectives, risk appetite and cash flow characteristics of life insurance companies through in-depth analysis of macroeconomic factors, capital market trends, interest rates, and geopolitical fluctuations that may affect investment performance
- Determine appropriate asset allocation strategies among instruments such as government bonds, corporate bonds, stocks, real estate, and alternative products to ensure a balance between expected returns and the ability to meet long-term insurance payment obligations, coordinate with departments such as Risk Management, Legal and Finance to ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal control.
- Establish investment performance indicators (KPIs), periodically monitor and report to the Executive Board and Board of Directors, reflecting investment efficiency, risk level and the ability to create sustainable value for the company.
2. Treasury Management and Cash Flow Optimization
- Manage the entire treasury of the company, ensuring liquidity, capital efficiency and compliance with financial management regulations of the insurance supervisory agency.
- Develop short-term and long-term treasury plans, forecast cash flows, and determine capital needs for each stage of business operations.
- Optimize cash flows through short-term financial instruments such as term deposits, certificates of deposit, repos, and money market products, carefully evaluate short-term investment options to ensure liquidity and maximize yield within the allowable risk framework.
- Establish and maintain relationships with commercial banks, investment banks and financial institutions to ensure the ability to raise capital, including negotiating credit terms, loan limits and capital costs
- Monitor the execution of daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, transparency and compliance with internal control procedures, closely coordinate with the Accounting and Internal Audit department to ensure the integrity of financial data and the ability to respond quickly to market fluctuations
QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
-University degree in Finance, Economics, Banking or related fields; priority given to candidates with a Master's degree or CFA, CPA certificates.
-Minimum 12 years of experience in investment and treasury management, of which at least 6 years in a middle or senior management position.
-Experience working in the life insurance industry or large financial institutions.
-In-depth understanding of investment products, money markets, risk management and legal regulations related to insurance company financial management
