Head of Information Technology - Banking

Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Leadership

-         Develop and execute the organization's overall technology strategy aligned with the company's vision.

-         Serve as the key advisor to the CEO and senior leadership on all IT-related matters.

-         Lead, mentor, and manage the IT leadership team across functions.

Application Development

-         Oversee internal systems and platforms development for learning, operation, and communication (Odoo, D365, Web)

-         Ensure continuous improvement and innovation in educational tools and platforms. (SMS, LMS, CRM, HRM, Finance)

-         Prioritize product roadmap in alignment with user feedback and business strategy.

Education Technology

-         Promote integration of new digital tools to enhance teaching and learning effectiveness.

-         Support development of blended and digital learning solutions.

-         Work closely with Academic and Product teams to ensure alignment.

Infrastructure & Security

-         Ensure secure, stable, and scalable infrastructure across all centers and offices.

-         Oversee data security, network operations, server management, and disaster recovery.

-         Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and best practices.

Budget & Vendor Management

-         Manage IT budget, procurement, and resource planning.

-         Negotiate and manage contracts with external technology partners and vendors.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

-         Partner with departments to assess technology needs and deliver integrated solutions.

-         Support digital transformation and automation projects across business units.

KPI       

-         System uptime and reliability metrics

-         Technology adoption and user satisfaction rates

-         Project delivery timelines and success rates

-         IT support ticket resolution time

-         Budget adherence and vendor performance

Qualifications

-         Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

-         Minimum 10 years of IT leadership experience, preferably in EDUCATION or SERVICE industries

-         Strong leadership and project management skills

-         In-depth knowledge of SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT, IT INFRASTRUCTURE, AND EDTECH TOOLS

-         Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

-         Strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving approach

-         Understanding of data privacy regulations and cybersecurity standards

-         Proficient in Vietnamese and English (written and verbal)
