I. Job Accountabilities:
IT Strategy & Planning (40%)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define IT development roadmap aligned with company business objectives and digital transformation strategy.
- Building and executing enterprise technology strategies, annual IT plans, and budgeting activities.
- Lead IT planning initiatives including resource planning, system enhancement roadmap, technology lifecycle management, and vendor strategy.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer experience through technology innovation and automation.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, trends, and architecture solutions to enhance business capabilities and competitive advantages.
Application Development & Delivery (40%)
- Lead and manage teams of application development, system analysis, and IT project delivery.
- Oversee system/application enhancement, maintenance, and new solution development based on business requirements.
- Ensure projects and initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
- Coordinate with business users, vendors, and outsourcing partners to ensure effective implementation and support of enterprise applications.
- Ensure systems/applications are scalable, secure, stable, well-documented, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Lead digital transformation and modernization initiatives related to core insurance systems and enterprise applications.
IT Governance & Risk Management (10%)
- Establish and maintain policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines for application development, system architecture, project management, and IT operations.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security standards, audit requirements, and company policies.
- Identify operational and project risks; develop mitigation plans and ensure proper risk management practices are implemented.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of business-critical applications and systems.
Infrastructure & Operations Collaboration (10%)
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams to ensure seamless integration and stable IT environments.
- Participate in planning and improvement initiatives related to IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
II. Job Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Information Technology, including application development and enterprise systems.
- At least 5–8 years in senior leadership or managerial positions.
- Skillful in negotiating with local vendors on pricing and managing the progress of development projects.
- Strong experience in IT development planning, project delivery, enterprise applications, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or enterprise environments is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of insurance systems, digital platforms, and enterprise application ecosystems.
- Knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity principles, and technology risk management.
