Job Description

Due to the nature of the job involving finance and legal matters, we only accept Vietnamese candidates.

The Head of Finance is a key executive responsible for managing the financial actions of Fullerton Health entities in Vietnam. Their duties include tracking cash flow, financial planning, analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses, and proposing corrective actions. This role plays a critical role in shaping the company's financial strategy and overall direction and will report in to the Group Finance Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure the company's financial objectives are achieved
  • Oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the company's strategic plans

+ Acting as a Business Partner to the Vietnam Managing Director, providing financial analysis to facilitate the optional use of commercial resources and establish an optional local group entity structure

Financial Management:

  • Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations
  • Supervise investment activities and provide strategies for cash management

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and statements to the Group Finance Manager, board of directors, and shareholders
  • Conduct a detailed financial analysis to support business decision-making

Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks
  • Implement policies and procedures to maintain financial discipline and control

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and manage the finance team, including accounting, treasury, audit and tax to ensure full compliance to the local statutory, financial and tax regulations
  • Develop and drive a continuous improvement and growth mindset

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with other senior executives and departments to support and drive company objectives
  • Engage with investors, auditors, and other financial stakeholders

Corporate Governance:

  • Ensure corporate governance compliance and adherence to ethical standards
  • Maintain relationships with external auditors and oversee the annual audit process, including tax audits

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is highly desirable

Experience:

  • At least 10 years of financial management experience
  • Experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and risk management
  • Proven track record of managing complex financial operations and leading a finance team

Skills and Competencies:

  • Fluent English (4 skills)
  • Strong knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in financial management software and advance Excel skills
  • High integrity and ethical standards
