Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounting team in Vietnam by streamlining and enhancing the operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Oversee finance operations and company secretarial documents.
  • Responsible for the financial planning, management reporting and financial performance analyses, budget, forecast, cash flow management, credit control, tax planning and reporting.
  • Review and develop internal control procedures and policies.
  • Provide professional financial advice to General Manager, Asia Pacific regional management and Board of Directors.
  • Review, monitor and improve the accuracy and completeness in Shipment PnL
  • Work closely with finance teams of Asia Pacific region.
  • Manage and communicate with external auditors, tax consultants, legal advisers and banks.
  • Perform ad hoc assignments when needed.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Degree holder in Accounting or Finance. Qualified Accountant under ACCA or equivalent.
  • Over 10 years working experiences in freight forwarding industries and 5 years managerial experience.
  • Sound knowledge with accounting standards, legal, tax and compliance requirements in Vietnam.

  • Flexible, hands-on, able to work under pressure, detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, can meet tight deadlines
  • Well organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and experience in Cargo Wise/ SAP preferred
  • Fluent written and spoken English
