RESPONSIBILITIES
Our company is a leading Corporate Fleet Expense Management platform that offers electronic payment and effective management to enterprise fleet expense such as fuel, toll, repair, maintenance, etc. We are serving over 400 corporate clients with fleets ranging from 50 to 5,000+ vehicles.
We are on a mission to become an AI-first fleet intelligence platform. Our strategic roadmap includes:
- Fully cloud operation (AWS and/or other public cloud provider (cloud-native, microservices).
- AI-powered document processing and fleet expense knowledge (OCR, invoice/bill collection, cost optimization).
- Predictive AI models for fuel, maintenance, and operational budgeting.
- Scalable payment infrastructure with real-time reconciliation.
We are seeking a visionary Head of Engineering with deep experience in B2B SaaS architecture, AWS cloud transformation and production-grade AI/ML systems to lead this evolution.
1. Cloud & Architecture Leadership
- Lead end-to-end migration from on-premise to AWS cloud-native architecture.
- Design highly scalable, event-driven microservices (99.99% uptime, sub-100ms payment latency).
- Implement infrastructure as code (Terraform, CDK), CI/CD, observability (Datadog, Prometheus).
2. AI & Data Platform Ownership
- Build enterprise-grade OCR engine (Vietnamese/English invoices, receipts, fuel tickets).
- Develop AI Operational Insights: predictive cost modeling, anomaly detection, budget automation.
- Own MLOps pipeline (SageMaker, Kubeflow, feature store, model monitoring).
3. Engineering Leadership
- Scale and mentor a 5+ person engineering team (Backend, Frontend, DevOps, Data, AI).
- Establish excellence in engineering: code reviews, TDD, security by design, OKR framework.
- Drive technical roadmap alignment with Product, Growth, and Compliance teams.
4. Security, Compliance & Performance
- Ensure ISO 27001 and Personal Data Proctection compliance.
- Design zero-downtime deployment, disaster recovery, and chaos engineering practices.
- Optimize for cost efficiency (FinOps) and global scalability.
5. Growth-Enabling Tech
- Enable A/B testing, feature flagging, real-time analytics for rapid product iteration.
- Support growth hacking via technical infrastructure (webhooks, event tracking, CDP).
REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years as VP Engineering in B2B SaaS or fintech.
- Proven track record in:
oLarge-scale cloud migration (on-prem AWS/Azure/GCP)
oBuilding e-wallet payment systems.
oShipping AI/ML products (OCR, NLP, forecasting) to production.
oAWS: EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, EventBridge, SageMaker, WAF, CloudFront.
oArchitecture: Microservices, Event-driven, CQRS, Kafka/RabbitMQ.
oStack: Node.js/Python/Go, React, PostgreSQL, Redis.
oDevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps.
- Experience in growth engineering: feature flags, experimentation, analytics.
- Leadership: Built high-performing teams, OKR-driven culture.
- English speaking and critical thinking.
