A rare opportunity has opened for an experienced technology risk leader to join a major enterprise organisation as Head of Divisional Controls.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for strengthening first-line technology risk management across a complex, global technology environment. You'll partner closely with CIOs and senior executives across Australia, India, and Vietnam to drive robust risk practices, operational resilience, and control uplift across cloud, cyber, data, applications, third-party services, and emerging technologies.
The role
As Head of Divisional Controls, you will play a critical role in helping the organisation identify, assess, manage, and mitigate technology risks while supporting business growth and technology transformation initiatives.
You will act as a trusted advisor to technology executives, providing strategic guidance on risk management, control effectiveness, regulatory obligations, operational resilience, and emerging risk trends including AI and automation.
Working across a broad technology landscape, you will help shape risk strategy while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strong governance.

You are a seasoned technology risk leader who understands how to balance strong risk management practices with commercial and operational outcomes.
You bring credibility with both technology and business stakeholders and are comfortable influencing decision-making at executive level.
To be successful in this role, you will likely have:
Qualifications in technology, business, risk, or related disciplines are desirable, while certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CRISC will be highly regarded.
