We are looking for a Head of Controlling to join our Endress+Hauser International Asia Pacific in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

What is the role about

  • Play a key strategic role in steering the financial performance of the Asia Pacific Support Center (APS) and its associated Sales Offices (SOs)
  • Act as a trusted finance business partner to ensure high-quality financial reporting, robust controlling processes, sound liquidity planning, and full compliance with local and group regulations, while driving transparency and continuous improvement across the region

Which tasks will you perform

Financial/ Management Reporting

  • Be responsible for timely month- and year-end closing in-line with local and IFRS accounting standards for Regional Support Center (RSC) legal entity
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly and annual financial and management reporting for all associated SOs
  • Drive development, continuous improvement and automation of finance and controlling processes across the region

Controlling And Consultancy

  • Prepare, analyze, interpret the financial results and provide clear insights and recommendations on corrective steps to Head of Regional Support Center (HoRSC), local Management Team (MT) and International Management Team (INT MT)
  • Identify financial and operational risks and proactively propose preventive and corrective measures

Forecasting And Consultancy

  • Act as finance business partner to the HoRSC for preparation and consolidation of financial forecasts for the RSC as well as for all associated SOs
  • Highlight financial trends, run-rates, risks and opportunities to support management decision-making
  • Strategic long-term financial planning and consultancy in line with company strategy

Financial Liquidity Planning

  • Develop and manage financial planning to ensure financial liquidity for RSC legal entity
  • Support all associated SOs in their financial liquidity planning.

Compliance

  • Be accountable and responsible for any tax related questions & clarifications and ensure compliance with local tax regulations, as well as liaison with external financial authorities, financial auditors, bank and other local authorities
  • Serve as the key regional contact for legal and compliance related topics across the region (e.g. commercial risks of customer contracts, office licenses in the region)
  • Ensure local and group policies are met (e.g., signature regulation, travel policy, expenses policy)
  • Maintain and improve the internal control system

Leadership

  • Provide functional leadership for all controlling related topics of the associated SO's
  • Actively contribute as a member of APS Management team
  • Mentor and coach controlling and accounting personnel of all associated SOs to support capability building and knowledge sharing
  • Lead the Accounting function in Vietnam

Other tasks upon reasonable request by Company from time to time.

What do we expect from you

  • Bachelor's Degree of Finance/ Accounting is a must
  • 7+ years of working experience in finance, accounting, or financial planning roles
  • CPA/ ACCA certification is a plus
  • Experience as finance business partner in the regional scope
  • Knowledge of financial reporting standards (TCVN and IFRS)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, SFDC is preferred
