Head of Accounting Shared Services (ASSC)

Hoan My Medical Corporation is seeking a Head of Accounting Shared Services (ASSC) to lead the design, build, and operationalisation of the Group's Accounting Shared Services Centre (ASSC) — consolidating transactional and reporting finance activities across all hospital entities.

The role spans strategy through execution: defining the operating model, migrating processes, deploying enabling technology, and running a high-performing service delivery function once steady state is achieved.

What you'll own

Shared Services Design & Setup

• Define the ASSC operating model, scope, and service catalogue

• Develop business case, implementation roadmap, and migration plan across holding companies

• Establish governance framework, SLAs, and escalation protocols

• Lead change management and stakeholder engagement with hospital FCs

• Set up physical centre infrastructure and team structure

Process Standardisation

• Redesign and standardise AP, AR, GL, SHI processes across the group

• Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal controls

• Drive harmonisation of chart of accounts and accounting policies

• Implement process automation (RPA, workflow tools)

People & Service Delivery

• Recruit, onboard, and develop the ASSC team ( 40 FTEs)

• Set performance targets and foster a service excellence culture

• Manage day-to-day finance operations once steady state is reached

• Act as primary escalation point for holding companies on ASSC matters

Controls & Compliance

• Embed internal controls (Vietnam Accounting Standards & IFRS) across all processes

• Ensure month-end and year-end close timelines are met group-wide

• Liaise with internal and external auditors

• Maintain compliance with healthcare-sector finance regulations

Continuous Improvement

• Track and report ASSC performance against SLAs and KPIs

• Identify and deliver productivity and cost-saving initiatives

• Benchmark against healthcare and shared services best practices

• Build a continuous improvement programme (Lean/Six Sigma methodology)

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting

• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA)

• 12+ years progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in shared services or finance operations leadership

• Demonstrated experience building or transforming a shared services function

• ERP implementation / migration experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar)

• Strong stakeholder management across decentralised multi-entity groups

• Proven people leadership of large teams (30+ FTEs)

• Healthcare or hospital group experience

• Lean Six Sigma certification

• Experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate)

• Exposure to intercompany accounting in multi-entity structures

• Prior P&L accountability or cost centre management

• Change management certification or formal training
