What you will do

  • As a Regional Government Affairs Advisor, you will beresponsible for providing strategic counsel to senior management on government affairs across Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This role leads to high-impact initiatives, develops engagement strategies with key government stakeholders, and drives cross-functional collaboration to advance organizational interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute government affairs strategies across primarily Vietnam as a chief core market, but also Thailand, and Cambodia as growth markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior government officials and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and provide timely recommendations to senior management.
  • Advise internal teams on government affairs implications for operations, planning, engineering, and communications.
  • Act as the organization's advocate with think-tanks, business associations, and policy bodies.
  • Lead high-impact projects addressing regulatory challenges and creating opportunities.
  • Analyze policy and legislative changes to support strategic decisions.
  • Build internal alignment and support for government affairs strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regional laws, regulations, and organizational procedures.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for senior management.

You will be a great fit if you

  • Have 10+ years in government affairs or public policy, including multi-regional experience.
  • Business-minded and operations-focused.
  • Can build and maintain strategic relationships with senior officials and stakeholders.
  • Advise senior management and influence decisions effectively.
  • Communicate clearly in English and Vietnamese, both written and oral.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments and solve complex regulatory challenges.
  • Lead projects and collaborate across teams and regions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Government affairs, public policy, and regulatory frameworks in Vietnam.
  • Strategic thinking, influencing, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
  • Work independently, manage multiple priorities, translate complex information into actionable insights, and represent the organization professionally.
