Job Description
- iOS Development & Architecture
- Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications for the Kia Access App using Swift and Objective-C.
- Architect scalable and maintainable iOS solutions, ensuring high performance and security.
- Develop features based on business requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and provide guidance on PRs submitted by vendors.
- Assist in vehicle audits to analyze and resolve app-related issues.
- Incident & Issue Management
- Handle customer-reported tickets related to the iOS platform and provide timely resolutions.
- Respond to urgent production issues, debugging and fixing bugs as needed.
- Work closely with backend teams, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth operation of the app.
- GitLab & Vendor Collaboration
- Manage GitLab repositories and maintain an efficient version control workflow.
- Review pull requests (PRs) from multiple vendors, ensuring high-quality code integration.
- Coordinate with vendors on development requests and provide technical feedback.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in iOS app development.
- Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
- Strong understanding of iOS architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER, etc.).
- Experience in handling production issues, debugging tools, and app performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and code review processes.
- Familiarity with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and App Store submission process.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
