Business SME – AI-Enabled Performance Management (Business Product Owner)
Purpose:
The project is in the insurance industry. Provide frontline performance management expertise to ensure the solution is fit-for-use by design, reflects how managers and leaders actually coach, track, and drive performance, and is adoption-ready at launch. Performance-facing BPO-equivalent SMEs are critical to validate requirements, business rules, and GenAI outputs against how performance is actually measured, managed, and actioned in the field, rather than theoretical frameworks.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Journey, epics & user stories validation: Review and validate epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria across end-to-end performance management journeys for the AI use cases, ensuring they reflect real manager and leader behaviours in the field.
- Business rules & logic validation: Partner with BD, Finance, Agency Performance Mgt and Strategy, and Risk/Compliance teams to validate KPI logic, incentive structures, coaching cadence rules, segmentation intent, prioritisation logic, and guardrails so outcomes are explainable and trusted by managers, leaders, and relevant oversight functions.
- Content readiness (business lens): Validate GenAI-generated outputs (e.g. performance insights, coaching prompts, recommended actions) against performance management standards and ensure they are safely usable with clear human-in-the-loop steps.
- UAT leadership & business sign-off: Define UAT scenarios, act as primary business tester, coordinate manager testers from pilot/beta groups, triage defects by business impact, and provide go/no-go recommendations for pilot and scale.
- Enablement validation: Validate training, playbooks, and field collateral produced by Change Managers for accuracy, relevance, and what to do / when / why now.
- Release readiness: Provide final business inputs and sign-off support for pilot and subsequent scaling cohorts.
2. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Commerce, Finance, or Banking
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a PO/BA
- Experience in the Insurance sector is a must
- Fluent English communication skills
- Experience working and handling situations with multiple stakeholders
