Role
A Guest Assistant is responsible for handling and assisting with all guest needs, while also supporting management in achieving the goals of the Front Office Department. The Guest Assistant serves as a central communication link between guests, other departments, and management.
Responsibilities
- Create a positive first impression for all visitors and represent the resort in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
- Provide accurate information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, and current promotions.
- Proactively assist guests with their requests to ensure they have the best possible experience at Amanoi.
- Ensure the protection and confidentiality of all guest information and sensitive hotel data at all times.
- Record guest feedback and report issues to the Front Office Supervisor or Manager.
- Uphold company policies, service standards, and safety procedures at all times.
- Contribute to maximizing hotel revenue by actively promoting and upselling rooms, services, and amenities.
- Follow all policies and procedures when charging guest activities, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a guest-facing role, preferably in the hospitality or resort industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Computer skills and familiarity with property management systems (PMS).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Professional appearance and attitude consistent with the brand image.
- Commitment to maintaining guest confidentiality and data privacy.
- Fluency in English; Chinese/Korean is a plus
