About the Role
Royce Consulting is seeking a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to support our growth across Southeast Asia, with a focus on Singapore and Vietnam. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and converting leads into long-term clients seeking market entry and cross-border advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets and industries
- Develop and execute outbound and inbound sales strategies to generate qualified leads
- Build and maintain relationships with founders, SMEs, and corporate clients exploring international expansion
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and position relevant advisory solutions
- Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, pitches, and presentations
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with client requirements
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospects with accurate CRM tracking and reporting
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in Southeast Asia
- Represent the firm in networking events, conferences, and client meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 2 to 5 years of experience in business development, sales, consulting, or client-facing roles
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and consultative selling
- Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with cross-border business, company incorporation, or regulatory environments is a plus
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working with targets
