About the Company
We are a fully Vietnamese-owned enterprise specializing in chemical trading, import-export, and distribution. With strong business growth, we are seeking an experienced Group Chief Accountant Manager to lead our finance and accounting function across the group.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Consolidation
- Oversee and manage all accounting operations of the group, including subsidiaries and branches.
- Prepare, review, and finalize consolidated financial statements in compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and relevant international standards where required.
- Ensure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness in all financial reporting.
Accounting & Compliance
- Monitor daily accounting activities, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, import-export requirements, and trading laws.
- Supervise statutory reports, audits, and coordinate with external auditors.
- Manage and optimize accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Business Support & Analysis
- Provide financial insights to support business decisions in import-export and chemical trading activities.
- Advise management on cost control, cash flow, and profitability improvement.
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor the accounting team across group entities.
- Build a proactive, disciplined, and high-performing finance function.
- Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA/ACCA or equivalent is a strong advantage.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 5 years in a senior role in an import-export or trading company (chemical industry experience is a plus).
- Proven expertise in consolidated financial statements.
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese tax laws, VAS, and experience working with international standards (IFRS) preferred.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in Vietnamese; English proficiency is a plus.
