Group Chief Accountant

This is a full-time, on-site Group Chief Accountant role based in Vietnam. The Group Chief Accountant will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with local regulatory standards, and lead the preparation of financial statements. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, analyzing financial data, supervising accounting teams, streamlining financial processes, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making. The individual will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency, accuracy, and efficiency in financial management.

• Expertise in financial reporting, audit preparation, and compliance with local accounting regulations and standards
• Proficiency in budget management, financial analysis, and cost control strategies
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor accounting staff
• Experience with accounting software and financial management systems
• Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Solid understanding of VAT, corporate taxation, and statutory requirements in Vietnam
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Possession of a relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and external partners
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese is highly advantageous
