The Opportunity

The Hub APMEA Graduate Trainee Program is designed to build a strong pipeline of high-potential young talent across the Hub. This structured 12-month development program aims to equip participants with the capabilities required to meet evolving business demands while promoting diversity and inclusion. Throughout the program, trainees will gain broad exposure to core business functions, hands-on experience, and targeted professional development opportunities. Upon completion, participants are expected to demonstrate the skills, knowledge, and professional mindset necessary to transition effectively into full-time roles and contribute to organizational success.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • You will participate in a 12-month structured rotational program across different businesses and functions within Hitachi Energy, engage in diverse job assignments, with a potential oversea workshop at the end of the program.
  • You will actively contribute to assigned projects while gaining practical insights into business operations, participate in continuous learning initiatives, including leadership development, mentoring programs, technical and product training, and exposure to industry practices and advanced technologies.
  • You will demonstrate strong personal leadership, teamwork, and collaboration in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, build professional relationships and gain exposure to senior leadership within the organization, show adaptability and readiness to travel or relocate based on business needs.
  • You will demonstrate strong initiative, self-confidence, and a proactive learning mindset, exhibit leadership potential and aspirations for future career growth, possess a customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering service excellence, show flexibility, resilience, and openness to new challenges and environments.
  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Recent university graduates (Engineering or Non-Engineering disciplines) with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
  • International mindset with strong intercultural awareness and social competence, well-rounded, mature personality with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communicator with perseverance, drive, and a results-oriented approach, demonstrated leadership potential, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial mindset, curious, ambitious, and open to continuous learning across diverse areas of interest, clear and realistic career aspirations.
  • Willingness to work in different locations, including international assignments.
  • Strong command of English; additional language skills are an advantage.
