Job Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, ministries, authorities, and industry associations at central and local levels.
- Lead all government liaison activities related to exhibitions, conferences, and business operations in Vietnam.
- Secure permits, licenses, approvals, and official endorsements required for events and business setup.
- Act as the key advisor to senior management on regulatory, policy, and compliance matters.
- Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and government policies impacting events, trade fairs, and foreign businesses.
- Support strategic partnerships with state‑owned entities and public organisations.
- Represent the company in meetings with government stakeholders and official forums.
- Coordinate closely with Operations, Sales, and Event teams to ensure regulatory readiness for all events.
- Manage potential risks related to government compliance and public affairs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Public Policy, Law, International Relations, Business, or related fields.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or regulatory roles.
- Strong network within Vietnamese government authorities and relevant ministries.
- Solid understanding of Vietnam's regulatory and licensing environment, especially related to events, exhibitions, or foreign investment.
- Experience working with multinational or foreign‑invested companies is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and political sensitivity.
