Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for Shopify-based e-commerce applications.
- Ensure products are delivered on time, with clean, maintainable code and high test coverage.
- Collaborate with Product Owner, Testers, and Frontend Developers to iterate on features and improve app UX/UI.
- Take ownership of feature enhancements based on usage data and personal insight.
- Actively participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and internal knowledge sharing.
- Support teammates when needed and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
Must have:
- 1+ year of experience in web app/backend development using Golang.
- Solid understanding of system design & backend architecture.
- Experience with MongoDB, Kafka, Redis or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with basic frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and learn fast.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Nice To Have
- Have experience working with high-volume systems or building data pipelines.
- Experience with data engineering techniques (batch, streaming processors, BigQuery, etc.)
