ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Global Talent Acquisition Executive plays a pivotal role in building AWING's people foundation across its international expansion markets. This position is responsible for end-to-end recruitment across multiple countries, laying the groundwork for a centralized Global Talent Hub, and managing employer branding initiatives to position AWING as an employer of choice throughout the ASEAN region. This role serves as the first dedicated global TA function within AWING's Centre of Excellence (COE) and will grow in scope alongside the company's Go-Global strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for AWING's expansion markets (including but not limited to Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Japan, COE), covering sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating offers, and placement.
- Post and manage job advertisements across appropriate platforms in each country, ensuring alignment with local language, platform norms, and cultural expectations.
- Conduct structured competency-based interviews and coordinate panel interviews with relevant stakeholders, including Country Managers and functional leads.
- Handle offer negotiation and extension in compliance with local labor regulations and internal compensation frameworks.
- Execute onboarding and offboarding processes for international employees, ensuring a smooth experience and full compliance with country-specific labor requirements.
- Support the Global HCD Manager in designing and continuously improving country-specific recruitment processes, SOP documentation, and hiring workflows.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data and reports (pipeline status, time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, etc.) for weekly and monthly HCD reporting.
Talent Pool & Global Talent Hub Development
- Act as the foundational builder of AWING's Global Talent Hub a centralized talent pipeline that supports hiring needs across all current and future expansion markets.
- Proactively source and cultivate relationships with passive talent across key markets, building sustainable talent pools for critical roles (Business Development, Partnership, Tech, Operations).
- Develop and maintain a structured talent mapping database by market, function, and seniority level.
- Collaborate with the Global HCD Manager to define workforce planning needs per country and build phased talent development roadmaps aligned to business expansion timelines.
- Research local talent market intelligence (compensation benchmarks, talent availability, competitor hiring activity) to inform recruitment strategy and headcount planning.
Employer Branding & Social Media Management
- Manage and grow AWING's employer branding presence across social media platforms (primarily LinkedIn, and local platforms relevant to each market).
- Develop and publish localized content for each market, balancing global brand consistency (AWING brand guidelines, tone, visual identity) with local cultural relevance.
- Create compelling recruitment content including job posts, employee spotlights, culture highlights, and campaign materials in both English and local languages (with support where needed).
- Monitor and analyze engagement metrics across channels, providing monthly performance summaries and recommendations for optimization.
- Coordinate with Country Managers and the COE team to collect stories, updates, and materials for content creation.
- Support the AWING Global LinkedIn page strategy and contribute to building AWING's reputation as an employer of choice in each market.
Jobs Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or related fields.
Experience
- 3 to 4 years of hands-on recruitment experience, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end hiring independently.
- Experience recruiting in at least one of the following industries: Media & Advertising, E-commerce, IT Services, or Technology.
- Prior experience at a Headhunting/Executive Search firm or in a Regional/Global TA capacity is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with hiring practices and labor market nuances across ASEAN countries is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience building or maintaining talent pipelines and tracking recruitment metrics.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or recruitment management tools.
- Competency in LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other sourcing platforms.
- Ability to create or guide the creation of social media content (Canva or similar tools is a plus).
- Solid command of Google Workspace or Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
Language
- English: Professional working proficiency required for cross-market communication, interviews, and written documentation.
