As we accelerate our expansion in theSoutheast Asia market, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Overseas Sales & Market Development Specialist to join our team and drive our business growth in this high-potential region.
Job Responsibilities
- Market Insight & Opportunity Identification: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive benchmarking for the water treatment and membrane sectors across Southeast Asia, pinpointing customer pain points, high-value project opportunities, and emerging industry trends.
- Strategic Marketing Execution: Formulate and execute targeted overseas marketing and sales strategies that align with the company's core business objectives, to boost brand visibility and market share in the region.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain robust, long-term partnerships with key clients (including water treatment plant operators, engineering firms, and government agencies) via direct outreach, regular communication, and active participation in regional exhibitions and industry forums.
- Cross-Functional Customer Support: Coordinate cross-functional internal teams (technical, engineering, and after-sales service) to deliver timely and tailored responses to customer requirements, providing end-to-end support for process design and integrated solution development.
- End-to-End Business Lifecycle Oversight: Oversee the full business lifecycle, from commercial negotiations and contract execution to project delivery coordination and accounts receivable management, ensuring smooth transaction closure and high customer satisfaction.
- Stakeholder Liaison & Collaboration: Serve as the trusted liaison between Southeast Asian clients and internal stakeholders, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration to drive sales conversion and ensure successful project implementation.
Qualifications
- Academic Qualification: Bachelor's degree or above in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Water Treatment, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Industry Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in sales or market development within the water treatment and membrane industry, with a solid track record of business expansion in Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, etc. is a plus).
- Market Acumen: In-depth understanding of the Southeast Asian water treatment market landscape, including local policies, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics.
- Communication & Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients at all levels.
- Language Proficiency: Proficient in English (fluent in both written and spoken English is a must; proficiency in a Southeast Asian language is a strong advantage).
- Willingness to Travel: Willingness to travel frequently across Southeast Asia (up to 60% of working time) to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Professional Competence: Strong problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-cultural business environment.
