Job Description


The Global Product & Portfolio Management Group (GPPM) is a core function responsible for driving sustainable business growth by managing products and portfolios across domestic and international markets.
This role is not a sales support position. It serves as a Product Owner, accountable for product-related decisions and outcomes across the entire business, including strategy, portfolio management, brand value, supply chain implications, and post-market responsibility.



1. Product & Portfolio Management
- Develop and manage product strategies, portfolios, and product lifecycles across domestic and international markets.
- Identify opportunities for new product launches, market expansion, exports, pricing, and product differentiation.

2. Brand & Marketing Management
- Develop product positioning, value propositions, key messages, and brand strategies.
- Manage promotional materials, congress activities, KOL/scientific engagement, and brand consistency.

3. Sales & Business Performance
- Set sales directions, target markets, customer segments, and KPIs in line with product strategies.
- Analyze sales, profitability, and market performance to drive continuous improvement.

4. Supply Chain & Product Ownership
- Monitor inventory, demand-supply balance, production, and shipment planning.
- Coordinate with SCM and relevant departments to minimize risks related to shortages, excess inventory, and supply disruptions.

5. Customer, Safety & Tender Management
- Manage customer feedback, complaints, and product-related issues in coordination with Quality, Regulatory, and Safety teams.
- Provide strategic input on tender, pricing, and contract strategies.

6. Cross-functional & HQ Collaboration
- Collaborate with Headquarters, Manufacturing, SCM, Sales, Regulatory, Quality, Safety, and overseas affiliates.
- Participate in business planning, budgeting, product roadmap development, and provide data-driven recommendations to management.


- Language: English or Japanese - Business Level
- Experience:
+ Minimum 3 years in a Manager / Associate Manager level within leading pharmaceutical companies
+ Experience in Product / Portfolio Management, Strategic Marketing, Supply Chain Collaboration, Commercial Management & Medical / Scientific Affairs
