Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Bookkeeping & Standalone Financial Reporting

  • Manage the full spectrum of day-to-day accounting transactions (AP, AR, GL, and Cash/Bank) for the standalone Singapore entity.
  • Perform timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow) in compliance with local regulations.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedule clean-ups.

2. Order & Project Profitability Management

  • Track, analyze, and manage the profit and loss (P&L) of orders, projects, or contracts.
  • Monitor cost of goods sold (COGS), direct expenses, and revenue recognition rules for each transaction.
  • Collaborate with the operations/sales team to flag margin discrepancies and ensure billing accuracy.
  • Provide routine order margin reports to the Accounting Manager to support business decisions.

3. Documentation & Vouching Control

  • Systematic filing, scanning, and digital archiving of all financial documents, invoices, receipts, and contracts.
  • Maintain a strict audit trail by ensuring all journal entries are backed by valid supporting vouchers and approvals.
  • Assist in retrieving documentation during internal control reviews and external audit seasons.

4. Tax & Audit Support

  • Assist in preparing data for routine tax submissions (e.g., GST filings and corporate tax computations).
  • Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary vouchers/documents to external auditors.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in handling full-set accounts and bookkeeping. Experience in E-commerce, Trading, or Tech industries with order-based transactions is a huge plus.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong foundation in double-entry accounting and standalone financial reporting.
  • High proficiency in accounting software (e.g.NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel for data analysis.
  • Soft Skills: * Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, and disciplined with documentation.
  • Good command of written and spoken English to collaborate with regional teams and handle English-based documentation.
  • Ability to work independently under tight closing deadlines.
