Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • This position is responsible for both internal and external accounting duties, which include but are not limited to full charge bookkeeping, maintaining company financial documents accurately and easily for tracking.

Responsibilities

Accounting tasks: 70%

  • Handling full spectrum of accounting role;
  • Ensuring all statements/report (VAT, CIT, PIT, etc.) and records comply timely with laws and regulations;
  • Monthly entering accounting data into software properly and accurately;
  • Preparing and providing accounting data as required, as well as coordinating the preparation of the annual budget;
  • Assisting in the preparation of data for Tax Department, audit, etc. as required;
  • Maintaining proper, accurate and meticulous accounting records in a timely manner;
  • Working with building management & third parties on renewing office renting contract, periodical payment arrangement such as the office lease, electricity, water, parking fee, telephone office landline, annual company business license taxation, tax token, office expenses, etc.
  • Taking main charge in purchasing procedure: working with relevant teams and vendors/supplier/third-parties to get the best quotation/offer for company;
  • Checking the company bank account and funds on a regular basis to ensure a sufficient balance for timely payment;
  • Handle monthly payroll, SIHIUI & PIT Finalization for employees;
  • Other assigned ad- hoc duties when required.

Admin tasks: 30%

  • Coordinating with HR/Admin team on monthly company activities as well as big events such as Teambuilding, Lunar New Year Party, Charity Activity, etc. in order to ensure the annual budgets are used effectively as well as promote a good working environment and solid team bonding;
  • General Office Administration Duties: provide support to managers and employees as required.
  • Performing other ad hoc tasks related to general affairs as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Having Chief Accountant Certificate
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Word and Excel skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
  • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail;
  • Ability to work under pressure and take multi-task;
  • A sense of responsibility, result-orientation;
  • A willingness to learn, a pro-active attitude in work and the ability to work with minimal supervision;
  • Be honest, patient and organized;
  • A can-do attitude and team spirit.
