Detailed responsibilities/accountabilities
-Ensure the accuracy of all purchasing and selling transactions.
-Handle all OPEX transactions to ensure timely, legal, and accurate reflection.
-Careful check before running costing and evaluate exchange rates for monthly closing book.
- Prepare the balance sheet (BS), profit and loss (P&L), statistical, and other internal reports for management and tax purposes.
-Support the preparation of data for annual audit purposes to ensure smooth and timely completion
-Coordinate directly with other departments to ensure all accounting matters are improved and comply with internal control procedures and legal regulations related to accounting and taxation.
-Responsible for all related tax and accounting documents to be stored standardly, logically and easily searching.
-Proactively stay updated on the latest laws and tax regulations and ensure correct application in the company's accounting records. Submit all tax reports on time as required by the government.
-Ready to instruct other team members on accounting and tax-related matters.
-Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Accounting Manager.
Requirements
-Graduated from a university with a major in Accounting or Finance.
-45 years of experience in accounting/Finance, preferably within the retail industry.
-Priority for immediate onboarding and with knowledge of IFRS.
-Good at English especially in communication skill.
-Solid understanding of accounting and tax regulations related to retail and import-export; experience with AR/AP is a plus.
-High attention to detail and ability to work independently; strong time management skills and a proactive approach to advising supervisors on accounting and financial risk management.
-Proficient in ERP software and Excel, PowerPoint, presentation skills.
-Strong command of Microsoft Office and familiarity with data analysis tools.
