RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design the economic systems to drive players to play and enhance their game experience.
- Manage the economy and pricing of virtual goods; balance between free content vs. paid currency in the game economy.
- Balance customer experience and revenue opportunity for in-game currency and virtual goods.
- Coordinate closely with the product, monetization, analytics, operation and development teams to align Studios vision and expectations.
- Investigate different macroeconomic models for different segments of users.
- Build and analyze simulations and predictive models to proactively forecast the results of changes to content.
- Design and optimize LiveOps events and Offers and in-game features through a process of test-and-learn.
- Model changes in player behavior based on economy and live-game design modifications.
- Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years experience in a economic, statistics, or data role.
- Strong logic and analytical skills; background in sciences, mathematics, engineering, software engineering, and economics.
- Enjoy working with numbers, formulas and data analysis.
- Ability to marry data insights with product intuition to provide effective solutions.
- Excel expert.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Detail oriented and methodical; ability to prioritize efficiently.
- Proven track record of delivering optimization solutions.
- Knowledge of Tableau or others visual analytics tools a plus.
- Background in mobile games or applications is a plus.
