We are currently on the lookout for a Tech Specialist
Frontend Engineering
- Design and develop rich, interactive, and responsive user interfaces using ReactJS and Next.js.
- Implement modern JavaScript (ES6+) best practices to ensure clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Work closely with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into high-quality code.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility with pixel-perfect implementation.
- Optimise rendering performance, bundle size, and loading times for a smooth user experience.
Backend & Database Development
- Integrate applications with Supabase for database, authentication, and API services.
- Design and maintain scalable database schemas using PostgreSQL within Supabase.
- Implement backend logic through Supabase edge functions or APIs.
- Ensure secure data handling, validation, and role-based access control.
- Build and maintain GraphQL/REST endpoints powered by Supabase.
Cloud Infrastructure (Vercel)
- Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on Vercel for high availability and scalability.
- Set up environment variables, preview deployments, and production releases.
- Leverage Vercel's serverless functions for backend logic where required.
- Monitor performance, optimise cost, and ensure uptime with Vercel analytics and monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a smooth CI/CD workflow integrated with Vercel.
Collaboration & Quality
- Work with product managers and designers to define features and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure reliability.
- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies for sprint planning and delivery.
You're someone who has:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of professional experience in frontend and full-stack development.
- Deep expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), ReactJS, Next.js, Supabase, and Vercel.
- Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain production-grade applications end-to-end.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and collaborative team environments.
