Fullstack NextJS-NestJS

Location: Remote

Contract: 6 months (extendable based on performance)

Start Date: ASAP (after 2-3 weeks once finishing paperwork)

Join a growing HR tech product team as a Senior Fullstack Engineer. You'll work closely with an existing Tech Lead and Product Owner in Thailand, contributing to product development and feature delivery.

Team Structure:

• Report to: Tech Lead (Thailand-based)
• Working hours: 9 AM 6 PM ICT (Bangkok timezone)
• Collaboration: Daily standups, sprint planning, code reviews

• 5-7 years of software development experience
• NextJS production experience building web applications
• NestJS production experience building backend services
• Fullstack capability comfortable working on both frontend and backend
• TypeScript proficiency
• Experience with modern development practices (Git, CI/CD, testing)

• Good English communication able to participate in daily meetings, technical discussions, and written documentation
• Team player comfortable receiving direction from tech leads and collaborating with product owners
• Independent executor can work autonomously once requirements are clear
• Adaptable comfortable with startup pace and changing priorities

• Startup or product company experience
• PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other database systems
• RESTful API or GraphQL design
• Docker, AWS/GCP basics
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience

The ideal candidate:

• Has hands-on experience with both NextJS and NestJS in real projects (not just tutorials)
• Can communicate technical concepts clearly in English
• Works well in structured teams with tech leads and product owners
• Has a growth mindset and is open to feedback
• Can start within 2-3 weeks

Not a good fit if you:

• Only have experience with one side (frontend or backend)
• Prefer working completely independently without team collaboration
• Are not comfortable with English communication in meetings
• Cannot commit to at least 6 months
