Role Description

This is a 6 years contract-based, on-site role located in the Mekong Delta Vietnam, Poitiers France and Stuttgart Germany, as a Fuel Cell Container Truck Research and Development Engineer. The primary responsibilities include the design, development, and testing of fuel cell technologies for container trucks. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and refine fuel cell systems, analyze performance data, and contribute to the improvement of efficiency and sustainability. Regular reporting and documentation of project progress, as well as compliance with industry standards and regulations, are integral to the role.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in fuel cell systems, power electronics, or related energy technologies
  • Experience in design, prototyping, and testing of energy storage or propulsion systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting performance data
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance related to fuel cell systems
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and communicate effectively
  • Proficiency in relevant software for design and simulation (e.g., MATLAB, CAD tools)
  • Master's or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields preferred
  • Previous experience in sustainable energy projects or transportation technology is a plus
