We are seeking highly skilled
Frontend Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Vue.js, or Angular. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works. You will take part of important software implementation and be responsible for, and not limited to:
- Develop new user-facing feature.
- Build and implement top-notch user interfaces using JavaScript and Angular framework.
- Collaborate closely with back-end developers to implement seamless client-server API interactions on the Web UI.
- Work alongside Business Analysts and Project Managers to translate requirements into functional features.
- Handle code deployments, releases, and other operational tasks on a rotational basis, with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous improvement of the build and deployment processes.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for frontend development, such as modular architecture, code quality, and testing.
- Optionally, present system demos to business users to showcase features and gather feedback.
- Write clean, scalable, and reusable code and libraries following industry best practices and future use as well.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end.
- Collaborate with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure high-performance of applications.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Fresh Grads are also very welcomed to apply.
- Proficient understanding of Angular. Other platforms such as ReactJS and VueJS are an asset.
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Proficient understanding of GIT for versioning.
- Understanding of UI component libraries and design systems like Material UI and Ant Design.
- Familiarity with database management, such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Ability to solve technical challenges and solutions with a strong customer focus.
- Keen interest in financial markets. Working knowledge of financial products is a plus.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills.
- Good command of spoken & written English.
- A fast learner and able to work independently.
