SODÅ Hospitality Partner is recruiting a Front Office Manager on behalf of our client, BOMA Resort Nha Trang, a boutique lifestyle resort set on the Nha Trang bayfront, Vietnam. The Front Office Manager will lead the front office and lobby operations, manage the front office team, and report to the Hotel Manager.

The role

The Front Office Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient daily operations of the Front Office and lobby areas. You will supervise the front office team, ensure smooth arrivals and departures, manage in‑house guest needs (including long‑stay and VIP guests), and protect room revenue through strong control of billing and procedures. You report into the resort's executive leadership and work closely with other department heads to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all front office activities, ensuring professional, welcoming and efficient service at all times.

  • Manage staffing, scheduling and task allocation for the front office team to ensure adequate coverage and high productivity.

  • Oversee arrivals, departures, room assignments and special arrangements for VIP and long‑stay guests.

  • Monitor room folios, high‑balance accounts and cash handling procedures to minimize revenue leakage and losses.

  • Ensure correct and secure handling of keys, guest valuables and front office systems.

  • Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, F&B and other departments to resolve guest issues and deliver smooth operations.

  • Maintain and enforce front office SOPs, service standards and training plans, including regular on‑the‑job training and monthly refreshers.

  • Prepare required daily/weekly/monthly reports and support departmental planning (rostering, OS&E/FFE planning, future needs).

  • Participate in Manager‑on‑Duty shifts as required and support emergency procedures when needed.

What we're looking for

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Front Office Manager (or similar leadership role) in a 4–5 star hotel or resort.

  • Experience in an international hotel environment/with an international operator in Vietnam is strongly preferred.

  • Strong leadership and people‑management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop the front office team.

  • Excellent guest‑service mindset and complaint‑handling skills; comfortable being present and visible in the lobby during peak times.

  • Good English communication skills; Vietnamese language and strong local communication are required.

  • Solid understanding of front office systems (PMS) and good proficiency in standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Organized, reliable and detail‑oriented, with the ability to handle pressure and multiple priorities.
