Job Summary & Project Description

Responsible for maintaining and developing software for broadband devices, including GPON routers, Ethernet routers, and access points.

Responsibilities

-Review existing requirements and work with stakeholders to identify gaps

-Design and implement new features based on customer requests

-Modify and fix bugs in source code

-Design non-functional testing to verify software on actual hardware (stability test, etc.)

-Implement WebUI features following UX/UI or revise existing UX/UI if necessary

-Read and understand networking standards (TCP/IP, IEEE 802.11, etc.)

-Participate in team planning, code reviews, and design discussions

-Go on business trips to fix issues at customer sites

Requirements

Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Work Experience

-Experience with C or C++

-Experience with basic networking (CCNA, TCP/IP)

-Familiarity with hardware

-English communication and writing skills

Knowledge / Skills / Attitude

-Experience with other programming languages (C++, JavaScript, etc.)

-Experience with containerized platforms (Docker, etc.)

-Experience supporting technology deployed in the field

-Ability to identify root causes through creative problem solving

-Proactive, enthusiastic, and responsible attitude at work
