LOCATION & REPORT

  • Job Title: Key Account Executive, Food Service
  • Site: Bel Vietnam - Location: Ho Chi Minh City / Ha Noi
  • Reporting to: Food Service Manager

JOB SCOPE & CORE DELIVERABLES

This is a commercial front-line role responsible for expanding the HORECA business, building strong partnerships with key outlets (hotel, restaurant, café, bakery), and ensuring perfect execution of sales fundamentals. This role requires excellent customer management, negotiation capability, and strong operational discipline to deliver sustainable business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES – WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE

1. Business Development & Sales Execution

  • Develop and expand HORECA customer portfolio, including prospecting new outlets and managing existing key accounts.
  • Deliver monthly/quarterly sales volume & distribution target.
  • Negotiate trading terms, listing, price, visibility, activation support with customers.
  • Ensure perfect execution of sales fundamentals: availability, pricing, visibility, stock rotation.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong, long-term partnerships with chefs, purchasing managers, owners, and F&B managers.
  • Collect insights on customer needs, menu trends, and competitor activities to propose tailored solutions.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key customers.

3. Trade Marketing & Activation

  • Coordinate with Marketing/Trade team to execute HORECA activations, sampling, and visibility programs.
  • Track performance of promotions, activations, and evaluate ROI.
  • Support in POSM deployment, menu development, co-branding initiatives with partners.

4. Sales Operation & Reporting

  • Prepare weekly sales reports, customer pipeline, forecast and stock planning for the channel.
  • Update customer database, contact list, and sales tracking system.
  • Follow up PR/PO, contracts, claims, invoices and ensure compliance to company policies.
  • Work closely with supply chain and finance to ensure order accuracy, payment follow-up, and stock availability.

5. Market Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, NPDs, and provide insights to Sales Manager.
  • Recommend actions for channel development, menu opportunities, and key product pushing.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years experience in Food Service industry, preferably in HORECA sales, F&B distribution or hospitality.
  • Strong customer management and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
  • Experience in CRM/sales management systems is a plus.
  • Good communication and presentation skills (both oral & written).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, result-driven mindset.
  • Careful, disciplined, able to work under pressure and manage multiple accounts.
  • Passion for F&B industry, especially HORECA/chefs/café/bakery sector.
