Location Overview

Join our team in Amanoi. Main Responsibilities

Service & Product Knowledge

  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of food preparation standards and procedures.
  • Maintain good knowledge of beverages and professional beverage service.
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge to confidently explain and sell offerings to guests.

Guest Service & Experience

  • Ensure guests needs and reasonable requests are promptly and professionally met.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Establish and maintain effective guest relations.
  • Endeavour to remember guests names and address them by their surname where appropriate.
  • Communicate with guests in a manner that promotes goodwill, trust, and satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate effective and appropriate interaction with guests while maintaining a professional image.

Guest Feedback & Complaint Handling

  • Report all guest feedback to the Supervisor/Manager on duty.
  • Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints.
  • Be empowered to handle special requests and complaints from outlet guests within assigned authority.

Sales & Promotion

  • Sell and promote food, beverage, hotel, and Amanoi products and services.
  • Apply upselling and suggestive selling techniques effectively.
  • Be familiar with all hotel facilities, including restaurants, bars, and function rooms.

Health, Safety & Security

  • Be aware of duty of care and comply with occupational health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify and initiate corrective actions for hazardous situations and report potential dangers to supervisors/managers.
  • Adhere to hotel security and emergency policies and procedures.
  • Be familiar with property safety standards, first aid, and fire emergency procedures.
  • Log all security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements.

Cleanliness & Maintenance

  • Adhere to hotel cleaning and maintenance programs.
  • Ensure a consistently high standard of cleanliness in the assigned work area.
