COMPANY
Olaben is a premium activewear and wellness brand that inspires movement, confidence, and community. We combine performance-driven design with elevated, everyday style, powered by a community of 700,000+ movers and changemakers who love how Olaben moves with them. Our flagship store and Olaben Studio in Ho Chi Minh City are where that community meets us in person — where people come to shop the range, train, connect, and go beyond. We stay true to our core values of passion, perseverance, and grit, building an authentic movement lifestyle rooted in personal responsibility, entrepreneurship, and inclusivity.
ROLE
You'll run our flagship store and Olaben Studio as one connected space — owning the commercial performance of the retail floor and the day-to-day experience of the studio under a single roof. You'll lead a small on-site team, partner closely with our marketing, buying and studio-instructor partners, and report directly to the CEO. Success looks like a flagship that hits its sales targets, a studio with full, well-run classes, and a team our community remembers by name.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail & commercial
- Own the flagship's monthly sales target, conversion rate and average basket, and turn daily numbers into clear actions for the team.
- Lead the selling floor — set the service standard, coach the team on styling and fabric knowledge, and make sure every visitor is looked after.
- Keep the store visually sharp: manage merchandising, product launches and drop-day execution in line with brand guidelines.
- Manage stock end to end — replenishment, stock counts, transfers and shrinkage — so the right pieces are always on the floor.
- Feed real customer and product insight back to the buying and marketing teams to shape ranging and campaigns.
Studio & wellness experience
- Run the Olaben Studio schedule — class timetabling, instructor bookings and front-desk flow — so classes start on time and run full.
- Own studio membership and class-pack sales, retention and renewals, and work with marketing to keep the calendar full.
- Set the standard for the in-studio experience, from booking to check-in to the feel of the space itself.
- Coordinate with instructor partners on quality, cover and community events that connect the studio to the store.
Team leadership & people
- Hire, roster and lead a combined retail and studio team of roughly three to eight, building cover across both sides of the space.
- Set weekly priorities, run team briefings, and develop each person through clear feedback and on-the-job coaching.
- Build a floor culture that is warm, considered and genuinely community-first — the way Olaben shows up in person.
- Manage rotas, attendance and performance so the space is well-staffed across trading and class hours.
Operations & reporting
- Run the site day to day — opening and closing, cash handling, health and safety, and supplier and facilities coordination.
- Report weekly to the CEO on sales, studio membership, stock and team, with clear commentary on what's working and what's next.
- Manage the site's operating costs and rosters to protect margin without cutting the experience.
- Keep every process — retail and studio — documented and consistent so the space runs smoothly on any given day.
REQUIREMENTS
- Four (4) or more years in retail store management, studio or wellness operations, or a blend of both — ideally in premium retail, fashion, fitness or hospitality.
- Proven ownership of a sales target and a team, with a track record of hitting commercial numbers.
- Strong English is essential — you'll lead the team, look after our community, and report directly to HQ; Vietnamese fluency is a strong advantage.
- Confident people leader who can hire, roster and coach a small on-site team across two mandates.
- Highly organised, with the judgement to prioritise a busy floor and a full class schedule at the same time.
- Comfortable with numbers — sales reporting, stock accuracy, membership metrics and simple cost management.
- Calm, warm and considered under pressure, with real attention to detail and the customer experience.
- Able to work a six-day retail and studio week, including weekends and holidays, on-site at our Thao Dien flagship.
- A genuine feel for movement, wellness and community, and belief in Olaben's mission to help people go beyond.
OFFER
- Competitive salary, compensation package and performance incentives tied to store sales and studio growth.
- Real ownership of a flagship space and a direct line to the CEO — your decisions shape how Olaben shows up in person.
