Position: Firmware Engineer
We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to work on stabilizing and maintaining an Embedded SDK. This role focuses on bug investigation, root-cause analysis, and validation across low-level components, ensuring high-quality SDK releases used by multiple tools, examples, and CI pipelines.
Role Description
- Investigate, fix, and validate bugs across embedded SDK components (drivers, HAL, middleware).
- Work in bare-metal and Zephyr RTOS environments using C/C++.
- Write minimal, targeted test cases to reproduce and prevent regressions.
- Support SDK releases by stabilizing code paths used by tooling, examples, and CI.
- Collaborate with internal teams to clarify expected behavior and constraints.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in embedded C/C++ development.
- Hands-on experience with bare‑metal and/or Zephyr RTOS.
- Ability to debug using JTAG/GDB‑class debugging tools.
- Comfortable working with complex, mature codebases and low-level systems.
- Strong discipline in bug triage, root-cause analysis, and fix validation.
- Detail-oriented, quality-focused mindset with good engineering judgment.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting SDK or firmware releases.
- Familiarity with CI systems (e.g. Jenkins or similar).
- Solid understanding of embedded system concepts such as interrupts, memory management, and synchronization.
