Financial Reporting Executive | upto 30 mil gross
Responsible for producing timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with Group policies and applicable financial accounting standards, ensuring consistency across the Group.
- Fixed Assets Management:
1.1 Coordinate fixed asset sighting
- Print fixed asset tags and send via email or courier
- Generate asset sighting listings and send to relevant entities with instruction memo
1.2 Process Fixed Asset (FA) and Right-of-Use Asset (ROU) requests
1.3 Monitor FA budget spending
1.4 Prepare FA reports and schedules (standard & ad-hoc)

2.1 General Accounting
- Prepare journal control list
- Post journals:
- BlackLine standard journals (AJD)
- Manual journals
- Accruals:
- BlackLine accruals (including cost center allocation for common expenses such as utilities, telephone, insurance)
- Manual accruals
- Prepayments
- Intercompany journals:
- BlackLine Intercompany JVs
- Manual Intercompany JVs
- Depreciation (FA & ROU)
- ROU lease liability accounting
- Procurement-card journals from other workstreams
2.2 Period - End Adjustments
- Payroll-related bank entries (salary, bonus, CPF, FWL, unposted receipts/payments)
- Provision for doubtful debts
- Treasury shares
- Tax provisions (current & deferred)
- Foreign currency revaluation
2.3 Financial Reporting
- Monthly Hyperion reporting
- Prepare schedules for consolidation team
- Intercompany balance reconciliation
- Monthly balance sheet schedules
- Trial balance preparation
- Financial statement analysis
2.4 Audit & Stakeholder Interface
- Liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders
3 Planning & Management Accounting
- Perform cost accounting, project costing, and cost control
- Process journals from Business Partners
- Stock obsolescence provision
- Warranty provision
- Inter-department cost allocation (support centers)
4 Forecasting & Budgeting
- Prepare budgeting and forecasting templates
- Input data into Hyperion system
5 Year-End Activities
- Accruals for external vendor invoices not recorded by Procure-to-Pay team
- Prepare year-end schedules for consolidation
- Perform SAP year-end rollover
6 External & Statistical Reporting
- Prepare external reports for statistical and regulatory purposes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from a reputable university
- Professional qualification (ACCA / CPA Australia / CA UK or equivalent) is an advantage
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Financial Reporting (strong GL background)
- Experience with SAP FICO / SAP HANA / Oracle Hyperion / BlackLine / XERO / SAGE
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (mandatory)
