We are supporting a leading multinational FMCG group in appointing a Finance Controller. This is a critical leadership role with strong focus on cashflow management, working capital optimization, and financial governance.
Scope of Role
- Lead end-to-end finance controlling, governance, and compliance across the business
- Drive cashflow visibility, liquidity planning, and working capital efficiency to support growth
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership on risk management and financial performance
Key Focus Areas
Cashflow & Working Capital (Core Priority)
- Own cashflow forecasting and liquidity management
- Drive improvements in cash conversion cycle and balance sheet efficiency
- Identify risks and opportunities to enhance cash generation and capital allocation
Financial Control & Governance
- Oversee monthly/quarterly/year-end reporting with a strong control environment
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
- Lead audits and continuously strengthen internal controls framework
Tax & Treasury
- Govern tax compliance and risk management
- Oversee FX exposure, funding structures, and banking relationships
- Ensure alignment with group treasury and hedging policies
Planning & Business Partnering
- Lead budgeting and forecasting, with strong focus on cash and balance sheet impact
- Provide insights to support commercial and operational decision-making
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing finance controlling team
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives
Ideal Profile
- 10–12+ years in Finance Controlling within MNC environments (FMCG preferred)
- Strong expertise in cashflow management, working capital, and treasury
- Solid grounding in financial reporting, tax, and governance
- Experience operating in matrix organizations
- Professional qualification: CPA / ACCA / CA
