We are currently looking for a Financial Advisory Analyst. The job descriptions and requirements are detailed below:
Key Responsibilities
- Support financial due diligence engagements for M&A, investment, and restructuring projects.
- Gather, organise, and analyse financial information, including financial statements and Virtual Data Room (VDR) materials.
- Assist in business valuation assignments using methodologies such as DCF and Market Multiples.
- Support the preparation of financial models, forecasts, valuation analyses, and client deliverables.
- Conduct industry and market research to support transaction advisory projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to project execution in accordance with Forvis Mazars methodologies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Candidates pursuing CFA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualifications are an advantage.
- 0–6 months of relevant internship or working experience in audit, accounting, finance, valuation, transaction advisory, investment analysis, or related fields.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles; knowledge of VAS and IFRS is an advantage.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with PowerPoint and financial modelling is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop in financial advisory.
- Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
