The Opportunity
This is a high-impact role for a seasoned finance professional ready to operate at the intersection of financial control, strategic planning, and operational business partnering. You will own the full finance function for the local entity — from statutory compliance through to group-level reporting — while serving as a trusted advisor to operational leaders on the ground.
What You Will Do
- Lead the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and performance dashboards for local and regional stakeholders
- Drive the annual budgeting cycle and rolling forecasts; build financial models that support strategic and operational decision-making
- Act as a finance business partner to plant and supply chain leadership, translating operational data into financial insights
- Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese statutory requirements (VAS, tax, customs) and group IFRS reporting standards
- Oversee working capital management across AP, AR, and inventory — critical in a commodity-driven, high-volume business environment
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes, maintaining audit-readiness year-round
- Champion process improvement and system efficiency initiatives, with exposure to ERP platforms (SAP preferred)
Who We Are Looking For
- 12+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 4 years in a management capacity
- Background in manufacturing, FMCG, or supply chain environments strongly preferred
- Solid command of VAS, IFRS, Vietnamese tax and customs regulations
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate strategic insights to non-finance stakeholders
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing from a recognized Vietnamese university (HCMC or Hanoi Economics universities preferred); strong academic track record expected
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems; SAP exposure is an advantage
