About the Opportunity
On behalf of our client, a leading global maritime and logistics organization with a 200-year legacy, we are seeking a
Finance System Partner (Reporting).
As the client is not using external vendors for this implementation, we are looking for a
Finance System Specialist who can independently manage, configure, and maintain the
Oracle NSPB (NetSuite Planning and Budgeting) platform. You will be the hands-on expert responsible for ensuring that the system's logic, templates, and data integrations are technically optimized to support regional budgeting and reporting cycles across 15 countries.
Key Responsibilities
- System Configuration & Model Maintenance
- Directly configure NSPB planning templates, input forms, and driver-based calculation logic.
- Implement technical changes to the Chart of Accounts (COA), Dimensions, and Business Rules.
- Technical Troubleshooting & Support
- Resolve technical root causes of consolidation issues, mapping errors, and system bugs independently.
- Act as the primary technical contact for explaining system behavior during month-end and budget cycles.
- Data Integrity & Reconciliation
- Perform rigorous technical reconciliations ( NSPB vs. NetSuite/Excel ) to ensure absolute data integrity.
- Maintain and audit mapping accuracy between the ERP and the Planning module.
- Reporting & Data Enablement
- Build advanced Smart View templates and prepare structured NSPB datasets for Power BI .
- Ensure clean, consistent data measures for regional analytics.
- Testing & Defect Management
- Lead the execution of technical SIT/UAT and personally fix system defects identified during testing.
- Maintain system governance and documentation for all logic and metadata changes.
Job Requirements
Technical skills:
- Degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Data Sciences, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in FP&A or Finance Systems, with a heavy focus on hands-on system administration .
- Deep experience in configuring and supporting Oracle EPM / NSPB / Hyperion or similar planning tools.
- Strong technical grasp of financial consolidation, budgeting cycles, and reporting logic (IFRS/Management reporting).
- Ability to troubleshoot data integration mapping and script-based business rules.
- Experience with NetSuite or Power BI is a significant advantage.
- Strong English communication skills.
Soft Skills
- Ability to manage and configure the system post-go-live without relying on external vendor support.
- Expert at investigating discrepancies and identifying logic errors in complex financial models.
- Capability to translate technical system behavior into understandable concepts for Finance users.
